Master Translations and its US subsidiary Multilingual Technologies are hiring Xiamen (China) based and Santa Clara (US) based account managers and project coordinators.
Open positions in the translation and localization industry:
Title: Project Coordinator/Account Manager
Location: Xiamen, (China) or Santa Clara (California, US). Possibility of remote work after 3-6 months of in-house work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above (any major)
- Candidates of all nationalities are welcome to apply. However, due to the languages involved in the projects, South East Asian candidates or those with fluency in South East Asian languages may be given preference (Filipino, Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Thai, or Indian candidates).
- High proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.
- Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese is preferred.
- Candidates must be attentive to details, with good time management skills.

Job Description:
Account Management and Customer Services
– Work closely with assigned client accounts to provide quality translation and localization services and increase revenue.
– Maintain and manage current client relationships.
– Participate in a variety of marketing and promotion activities as requested, such as attending trade shows, industry events, writing posts for social media accounts, etc.
– Participate in sales activities such as providing support to sales team.
Project Management/Coordination
– Coordinating the activities of translators, editors, contractors, and other professionals.
– Assign projects and work closely with clients and functional area leads (management and production teams within and outside of MTS group) to determine deliverables and schedules.
– Ensure that documentation is controlled and produced according to specifications and quality system requirements.
– Track project schedules, maintain project records and adjust as priorities shift.
Other duties may include:
– Translation, proofreading and editing of translations as deemed necessary by supervisor.
