Jolly Wu – PM for the International Department at MTS
Jolly joined the Master Translations team in Xiamen two years ago as a project manager after graduating in English studies. She grew up in the 8-million-people metropolis of Quanzhou in southern Fujian, China. Besides Mandarin and English, she speaks Minnan language fluently.
About her job at MTS “I really enjoy communicating with linguists from other countries and sharing ideas with them”, explained Jolly, who loves swimming, travelling and watching documentaries in her free time.
Jolly’s favourite writer is Chinese contemporary female novelist, film editor and translator Huo Da, who once wrote: “People can lose everything, but they should never lose themselves”.
