On May 14, 2019, Bureau Veritas issued an ISO17100:2015 certificate to MTS, making our company the first translation service provider in China to get certified.

Bureau Veritas is a recognized world leader in testing, inspection and certification services. As a member of the Technical Committees 176 and 207 of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO/TC176 and ISO/TC207), it participates in the development of the ISO9000 and ISO14000 standards and other industry standards, and contributes towards the promotion of the standards.
ISO17100 (Translation Services: Requirements for Translation Services) is a world-recognized standard for companies within the translation industry. It is based on the European quality standard EN-15038:2006 and transfers the original requirements to the ISO framework. It provides requirements for the core processes, resources, and other aspects necessary for the delivery of a quality translation service that meets applicable specifications.
Through the application of ISO 17100:2015, MTS further enhances its capability to deliver quality services that will meet each client’s specifications and conform with all relevant requirements.
Milestones in our quality management:
June 2010: initially obtained the ISO9001:2008 certificate
August 2018: passed the recertification audit and received the ISO9001:2015 certificate
April 2019: obtained the ISO17100:2015 certificate
