Our dear partners Terra Localizations are looking for a remote Localization Project Manager to manage the localization projects of some of their clients in the video game industry. This includes managing relationships with external language translation vendors, using their translation management tool and memoQ server, and working with internal team members for monitoring linguistic performance.
In this position, you would manage Terra’s process for localizing marketing, website, business, and gaming content. This includes:
• Working with translation vendors to get content translated to different languages.
• Ensuring the translated content is reviewed by approved reviewers in each language.
• Supervising the content for layout and length, identifying instances when website changes may be needed to accommodate specific languages.
• Utilizing the memoQ tool to update TMs and Termbases, run QA checks, and monitor Key Performance Indicators.
Desired skills:
• Project management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Prior experience working with multilingual localization
• Fluency in Spanish (preferred)
• Prior video game localization experience is a plus
• Prior experience using translation management systems and translation tools
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in translation, localization, language, or another relevant field
• 1-2 years relevant work experience
• Asia time zone
