Since the outbreak of deadly COVID-19 in our country, our people have endured times of uncertainty and struggle. Preventive measures and serious precautions have been adopted everywhere to ensure the containment of the disease.
WHO’s basic protective measures against the virus include frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or water and soap. Although they limit the use of masks mainly to those in contact with infected people, Chinese authorities have advised and encouraged the use of masks at all times from the beginning of the outbreak.
In the country with the largest population in the world, the supply of disinfectant liquid and masks ran out quickly. The authorities responded timely and established systems to avoid price speculation and scam. Unfortunately, mask supply was still insufficient.
Happily, in the face of adversity, solidarity and esteem flourish.
We are grateful to our clients and partners for their emails showing support and concern from all corners of the world. But emails were not the only help. Last week, one of our clients was the sunshine in our gray and stormy skies and sent us a box with masks from across the globe. For once, at MTS we lack the words to express our heartfelt gratitude.
Thank you for providing our team with high quality masks and for caring like you have in these times of uncertainty.
